Cancellation Policy:

 

    1. If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the requested pick-up time/date we reserve the right to make full charge for the journey. If cancelled within 48 hours of the booking time/date then a 50% charge may be applicable
    2. If the passenger does not appear and make contact with our driver at the booked time and the designated pick-up point, we reserve the right to make a full charge for the journey.
    3. If booking the 16 seater mini coach the full  price quoted must be paid at time of booking (unless agreed with management beforehand) and if cancelled within 36 hours of the requested pick up time/date we reserve the right to make full charge for the journey, if cancelled within 72 hours of time/date then a 50% charge may be applicable

Non-airport collections: Except for a 10-minute ‘grace’ period waiting charges will apply from the booked time, at our current standard rate.

General Terms & Conditions

 

  • Whilst we do our best to be punctual, you should understand that we cannot be held responsible for delays caused due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic.
  • Our drivers drive at safe and sensible speeds according to the road conditions, traffic and legal speed limits.
  • Unless specified at the time of booking, we may not automatically be able to accommodate additional pick-ups or drop-offs for any journey, although every effort will be made to meet such requirements with additional cost to the client. If our driver is asked to wait either at the beginning or during a journey, waiting time is chargeable at our current standard rate.
  • Customers are held responsible for any interior or exterior damage that is done to the vehicle on hire to them. They will be billed accordingly for repairs and valeting required.
  • Subcontracted vehicles may be provided occasionally.
  • By providing your email address, you permit Sussex Chauffeur Company to contact you using emails and in return, we promise to never supply it to any third party.
  • If there are charges or variations, including extra mileage apart from what was agreed, the customer will be charged accordingly.
  • At any time, if necessary, we reserve the right to change your vehicle or chauffeur.
  • Every effort will be made by us to ensure our vehicles or subcontractors arrive on time.
  • Our chauffeur(s) always travel by the best possible route on the day, unless and until they are instructed otherwise by the customer at the time of booking.
  • Sussex Chauffeur Company vehicle(s) and subcontracted vehicles are completely insured for passenger and third-party claims. However, the customer’s properties are entirely at their own risk and we shall not be held liable for any damage to any such property.
  • Sussex Chauffeur Company keeps any lost property at their office and will endeavour to return any goods that are left in our vehicle(s) or subcontracted vehicle(s) to the customer as quickly as possible.
  • Sussex Chauffeur Company have the right to refuse to carry any customer who is understood to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour tends to pose a threat either to the chauffeur or any fellow passenger(s).
  • Sussex Chauffeur Company maintains a strict no-smoking policy in all our vehicles.
  • Online quotations do not allow for bank or public holidays, such as Christmas or New Year’s Eve, when there may be an additional surcharge.
  • Nothing mentioned above in these terms and conditions affects the customer’s statutory rights.
